Online Youth Protection Training
After completing the Youth Protection Training online module, the training participant's name will be compared to information on registered adults on file with the Boy scouts of America. If the Youth Protection Training participant is a registered adult member of the BSA, the following items will be sent back to the training participant:
- A certificate of completion.
- A letter from the Scout executive of their council.
- An explanation of the council's youth protection reporting procedures.
- A course information handout.
Youth Protection Training participants who are not registered adult members will receive all of the above except the certificate of completion.

The content of this training was developed to suit the unique aspects of the Venturing program - things such as coed crews and the age proximity of youth and adults in that program.
