            Tetonwana Lodge Vigil Retreat

October 17th & 18th at Newton Hills Scout Camp

Fall is officially here and that means we are just a few weeks away from the annual Vigil Retreat. Once again the event will be at Newton Hills Scout Camp on October 17th and 18th of 2009. All Vigil Honor members are invited to help us welcome our nine new Vigil members.

The candidates are to arrive between 6:00 and 6:30 pm on Saturday: Supper will be around 7:00 pm and 8:00pm and the event will conclude after breakfast Sunday morning. In order to prepare the sites for the candidates Jake Mackey will be arriving at Newton Hills at 2:00 pm. Although he likes to make the fires, he’s not opposed to help so if you can arrive early to help that would be greatly appreciated. We will meet at the main cabin and spread out to the campsites after that.

Please return the registration form that you should have received in the mail as soon as possible if you are able to attend so Norm can have food for you. If you didn’t receive your letter, please call or e-mail the Council to let them know you plan to be there. As always this weekend will be a great time to see old friends and enjoy the Scouting experience, we hope to see you all there.
