Stampede Grant Money Available for Service Projects

The Sioux Falls Stampede has changed their community grant program for 2008.  This year they are encouraging youths to write up and submit community service projects for possible funding up to $1,000 by the Sioux Falls Stampede Hockey Club.  Owner Jim Loria said the there are no geographic restrictions.  He also said the media has not picked up on this story so proposals have been slow to be turned in.  They expect to fund up to three projects.  Please pass along this information to your Scoutmasters who may have Scouts considering Eagle Scout Projects and need to raise funds to carry them out.  Dead line for applications is March 17th.
