Welcome Brian Sutilla
The Sioux Council would like to extend warm welcome to the newest member of the Sioux Council professional staff.
Effective May 1st, Brian Sutilla will be become the Prairie Hills District Director. Brian will be relocating from Dubuque, Iowa where here has served successfully as a Senior District Executive the past three years. Brian started his professional scouting career in the Northwest Suburban Council, located in Mount Prospect, Illinois as a District Executive in October 2002 to September 2005.
Prior to joining the Scouting profession Brian as also worked for the local council in Waukesha, Wisconsin as a support staff and pre-professional employee.
Brian is an Eagle Scout, Vigil Honor and Founders’ Award – Order of the Arrow, Wood Badge trained, and a James E. West Fellow. As a volunteer Brian was also recognized for his volunteer service receiving the District Award of Merit.
As District Director, Brian will be responsible for the complete operation of the District including the leadership of total of three professionals and several program aides, which along with the district volunteers who collectively deliver a quality program 145 units and 5,000 total youth members. This will included the new Soccer and Scouting program which will start this summer and fall.
