The Sioux Council, BSA is happy to welcome Brenda Poppens to the professional staff. 

Brenda is a native of the Lennox, SD area.  She attended Augustana College in Sioux Falls, graduating in 2007 with a degree in Spanish and a minor in Communications.  While there, she was involved with several college organizations, community activities, and youth groups.  Following graduation, she traveled throughout the United States and substitute taught in the Sioux Falls area.

Brenda joins the staff on May 19, 2008, as a District Executive.  She will be serving in the Prairie Hills District along with Brian, Verlyn and Kyle.  Brenda will mainly be building and organizing the new Soccer and Scouting program.
