2010 Silver Beaver Award Nomination

The Silver Beaver Award is an award of the National Council, Boy Scouts of America, presented through the Sioux Council for noteworthy service of exceptional character to youth by registered adult Scout leaders in the territory under the jurisdiction of the Sioux Council.

This application must be completed and accompanied by narrative outlining the specifics of items A, B and C in the nomination form. There is no limit to the number of letters of recommendation which may be included; however, a minimum of two letters is required. The letters must contain specific details of the nominees' community service.

The nomination package is due at the Sioux Council Center for Scouting by March 5, 2010 so the selection committee can review the nomination. Selected individuals will be presented their award at the Council Annual Recognition Luncheon on April 24, 2010 in Sioux Falls. Please mail the nominations to the Sioux Council Center for Scouting (800 N. West Ave. Sioux Falls, SD 57104).
