Not going to the National Jamboree in 2010? Celebrate 100 years of Scouting by hiking the mountains of Philmont Scout Ranch. The Sioux Council is pleased to announce that we are organizing a council contingent for 2010. Long-time Philmont veteran, Chuck Mackey has volunteered to lead the group.
Currently we have 48 spaces available (4 treks of 12). Reservations are on a first come first basis (they won’t last long). You can register as a Troop and go together or register yourself and go with others from our council. Either way we charter a bus and travel together.
When: Our reserved trek dates are Wednesday, June 16th to, Monday, June 28th. Our trip dates are June 15th to June 29th.
Cost: The total cost of the Trek is $1100 per participant (Payment Schedule Listed Below). This covers all transportation, lodging, and food costs for the trip. Participants must supply their personal gear and any souvenirs.

*Refund Policy: Any potential refunds will follow the “Program Refund Policy of the Sioux Council” as Approved by the Council Program Cabinet and Passed by the Executive Committee on June 22, 2006. Who: Participants must be 14 years of age by January 1, 2010 or have completed the eight grade and be at least 13 prior to participation.

Please complete this form and return it back to the Sioux Council, BSA, along with your $100 deposit. You may register alone or by Troop/Crew.
