Special Awards!

*The Unit Golden Spark Plug Award - This award is presented to the one adult who has done a particularly outstanding job for your unit in the past year. This may be someone involved as a leader, committee member, or parent. Every unit gets to select one adult who has helped the unit succeed for this award. One award per unit will be presented to the adult volunteer who provides the spark in each unit. Nominees for this award do not have to meet the requirements of the other district awards.

The District STAR Award (Scouters That Attend Roundtables) - This is the only district award that the recipients themselves determine who qualifies to receive it. This award is to recognize those district Scouters who have attended 2/3 of the scheduled Scout Leaders’ Roundtables during the past year. (Scouters are reminded to sign the Roundtable attendance sheet each month to document attendance)
Training Awards

Those Scout Leaders who have earned training awards during the past year need to get their completed Training Award Records to the District Training Chairman as soon as possible in order to receive your awards at the District Awards Event at the Spring Rendezvous.
