The North Star District serves 13 counties in Northeast and North Central South Dakota and Big Stone County in Minnesota. Communities would include: Aberdeen, Watertown, Sisseton, Milbank, Ortonville, Clear Lake, Clark, Webster, Britton, Mellette, and Redfield

Information about the North Star District Friends of Scouting (FOS) Campaign. The campaign officially starts January 2nd and ends March 31st. Last updated on 02/08/10.
Two special 100th Anniversary Events are currently being planned by the North Star District. These include a Canoe Challenge for Scout Troops and Venture Crews the weekend of Aug. 13-15 from Camp Iyataka to Scout Island near Ortonville, and a fall 100th Anniversary Weekend at Fort Sisseton the weekend of Sep. 17-19 for everyone in the district.
