Five Rivers District Roundtable
Round Tables are a fun time for adults and provide the direction that many are looking for to run their den meetings. Most of the time it is the Cub Masters who attend these meetings but fear not the meeting is for all adults in Scouting. A general outline of the themes are outlined for the next month as well as a game and sample craft for a good den meeting.
Are you having trouble handling some of the boys because they just have to much energy? Is there a discipline problem in your den? You are not alone, lots of Den Leaders and Scout Masters as well as Commissioners have probably experienced the same or similar circumstances. Ask the question, "How do I deal with .......?" There will not be a judgement only lots of helping hands who have been through it before. Remember our membership has been around for almost 100 years and we have probably seen it before. If we havent seen it before I am sure you will welcome the help of 5 or 6 people rather than tackling the incident alone. We are here to help.
Round Tables are held in Pierre at the First United Methodist Church from 7:30-8:45pm. The dates vary a little every month but the best way to remember is that they fall on the first Monday following the first Wednesday of each month.
