Sioux Council Electronic Newsletter

February 15, 2008

First E-Newsletter

Welcome to the first edition of the Sioux Council electronic newsletter.  If you received this newsletter, than you are a current subscriber.  As more e-newsletters are published, you will receive them automatically, just as you received this one.

If you don not want to receive the Sioux Council electronic newsletter, all you have to do is go to www.siouxbsa.org, log on to "Your Profile" located at the top right-hand corner of the page.  Edit your preferences for the types of communication you receive.  One of the options is the Sioux Council E-newsletter.  By un-checking the box, and saving your profile, you will un-subscribe to this publication.

We believe you will find this e-newsletter useful and will want to continue.

You should edit "Your Profile" from time to time because other e-newsletters and other communications are added occasionally.  When you first set up your profile on MyCouncil, you most likely only had one e-newsletter to subscribe to, the Sioux Council.  Now there are three others; Tetonwana Lodge, North Star District, and Sioux Council Venturers.

Lewis & Clark Payments Due

Just a friendly reminder that in order to receive the "Early Bird" discount price of $175 for youth attending Lewis & Clark Scout Camp, you need to send $87.50 per scout to the Center for Scouting by March 1, 2008.  It would be helpful to include a list of names for youth attending.  We will credit their registration accordingly.

Don't penalize the youth in your troop who are committed to camp by sending their payment in after March 1st.

NOT signed up for Lewis & Clark!  Go to www.siouxbsa.org/Camps/LewisAndClark/Resources/ to look at open campsites, and print a registration form.

Missouri River High Adventure Base, A Great Program for Older Scouts & Venturers
