OrderPopcorn.com
Trail’s End has a new website where customers can purchase popcorn, and where you and your Unit can earn extra income. It’s OrderPopcorn.com. It’s like selling with an order form except customers purchase popcorn online and get it shipped direct to their house, the cost of shipping is included in the price. This method of selling comes in handy when relatives live outside of your delivery area. Grandparents live in California. They can go online and use an order key from their grandson and order popcorn.
The cost of shipping is included in the price and thus, this method is not recommended for local use. Due to the increased cost of this program, the commission structure is not the same. The customer pays for the popcorn online and the commission check is then sent to the Sioux Council by Trail’s End. We will then deposit your portion of the commission in your Unit account. The Unit commission on all OrderPopcorn.com products will be 20%, year round. During the popcorn sale in the fall, a Scout can use any OrderPopcorn.com sales as part of his prize total. The commission will remain at 20%.

This is a Unit decision to use this option or not. Please contact Linda Wagner at the Center for Scouting if you have questions.
