Two Ways to Deliver Popcorn
Your unit may Deliver popcorn in either or both ways.
Instant Delivery (Show & Deliver)
By Pre-Ordering the product, your members are able to deliver the product as soon as they sell the product (usually door to door). The unit places an order on line by September 17, 2007, for a supply of popcorn, usually based on previous year’s sale if the unit sold before. The popcorn kernel (unit popcorn chair) picks up the popcorn for the sale on September 28, 2007. The unit distributes the popcorn to the Scouts. When the sale is complete, the boys return any unsold product and their funds to the unit kernel. The unit kernel re-packages the popcorn in the correct cases and returns the popcorn to the designated location. Only “Un-damaged” individual containers can be returned. Please do NOT write names on the cases or the containers if you plan on returning any unsold product.
Take Order
Take Order is where the Scout or Parent has an Order Sheet with the product information on it and takes orders from customers. The Scout can take orders beginning on September 28, 2007 and ending October 21, 2007. Scouts submit their orders to their unit kernel, who calculates the order needed for their unit and places their order ON-LINE with the council. The ON-LINE order for Card Sale is due by October 24, 2007. Your popcorn can be picked up on November 9, 2007. Your unit kernel pays the council for their popcorn on or before November 30, 2007. No orders will be taken over the phone. You must enter your order Online at www.trails-end.com
