Where will we be camping at?
Sioux Council Jamboree Troop 1432 will be in Subcamp 14, in the southwest corner of the Jamboree site. We will be camping in an 80’x100’ campsite (8,000 sq feet) along with 52 other troops from Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, Missouri, Ohio and Illinois. The youth members will be camping with another Scout and the adults will have tent of their own. Within the Subcamp will be our own commissary, where we get our meals and supplies, bathrooms and showers, medical facilities, post office and headquarters. We will form up into 4 patrols of 8, 4 youth leadership positions, Senior Patrol Leader, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, Quartermaster and Scribe (if you are interested in any one of these positions, please contact the troop leadership). Breakfast and Supper will be prepared and served at the troop campsite, no need to bring any eating utensils, (if you have any food allergies or special dietary requirements, you need to let the troop leadership know). You will receive and eat your lunches out in the Jamboree ground at food Kiosk’s throughout the Jamboree site.
